At the very core of LPI lies an emphasis on partnership with a diversity of civil society, academic and policy actors. In 2018, we worked with 50 partners to support everyday people experiencing violent conflict. Tasked with the objective of supporting borderland communities amplify voices & promote cross-border cooperation, LPI supported the establishment of a Borderlands Civil Society Platform in 2023. With our partners, we also engage a broad variety of decision-makers to seek structural responses to conflict issues and respond to those experiencing violent conflict.
